International Missions Short-Term Mission Team Leaders
International Missions Short-Term Mission Team Leaders gathered at the Black
Rock Conference Center, Quarryville, PA, near Philadelphia, March 16-18, 2007.
Baptist Temple Parkersburg's
Pastor Larry (fourth from right-back row) and
Susan (third from right-second row) joined other people from all over the
Atlantic region and Midwest for 20 hours of intensive training to lead overseas
and domestic short-term mission teams.
Baptist Temple Parkersburg has announced plans for a trip to Nicaragua in
2008.
The area where the training was held received the brunt of late winter ice
storm. One of the IM trainers, Jonathan, said, "We were convinced of these
people's commitment to missions by the way they braved the storm, snow and ice
to get to the training."
