Baptist Temple a Peacemaker Church

Peacemaker Ministries At Baptist Temple Parkersburg we are about peacemaking.  Peace with God, peace with each other and peace within ourselves. 

The Peacemaker Church is a discipleship and church transformation strategy for developing a "culture of peace" in the local church. 

A culture of peace is an environment in which members are encouraged and equipped to use biblical peacemaking to strengthen relationships, resolve conflict, enhance outreach and give witness to Jesus Christ.

The process of Peacemaking is a way to experience the promise of Jesus:

Several of the Members of BT have been trained in biblical peacemaking techniques by the staff of Peacemaker Ministries.  BT works in cooperation with other qualified peacemakers within the West Virginia Baptist Convention and Peace Be Still Ministries to achieve a culture of peace.  The website of Peacemaker Ministries offers a free download from the book by Ken Sande, The Peacemaker: A Biblical Guide to Resolving Personal Conflict.
