The ROMANS ROAD....is a pathway you can and must walk if you are to make Heaven your eternal home.
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." That means everyone, no matter what you standing in life may be. We all have sin in our hearts. We were born under the power of sin's control. The first step on the road is to admit that we are sinners.
Romans 6:23a "...The wages of sin is death..." Each of us have been found guilty of sin and the price that has to be paid it death. The end result of sin is always death. This is not the physical death but a spiritual death, which is the eternal separation from God and to spend an eternity in a place that the Bible calls the Lake of Fire. The second step on the road is to understand that you deserve death for your sin.
Romans 6:23b "...But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Eternal life can be yours, it is a free gift from God to you! The wages of our sin is death but Jesus stepped up and paid that price for us. The third step is to ask God to forgive you and save you.
Romans 5:8, "God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us!"
When Jesus died on the cross he
looked forward in time to this
present day and knew that you would
be reading this and he was willing
to set up and pay your sin's
penalty. He took all the
sins of the world on Himself on the
cross, He bought us out of slavery
to sin and death! The only condition
is that we believe in Him and what
He has done for us. He did all
this because He loved us and gave
Himself for us!
Romans 10:13 "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved!" Use this moment to call upon the name of the Lord and you will be saved.
Romans 10:9,10 "...If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation." Confess that He is Lord and that through the power of God he was raised on the third day from the dead and you will be saved.
Revelation 3:20 "Behold I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and sup with him, and he with me" Do you hear Jesus knocking on your heart's door today, if you do open that door and invite him in. If you have invited him into you heart tell someone about Him today.
